Hi, my name is Kate and I am a Classical Mat Pilates Teacher based in Bunbury, Cheshire and I would love you to join me on the mat to learn the original 34 exercises of Joseph Pilates.
Pilates is a system of physical and mental exercises that encourages you to build your core stability, develop length, strength and flexibility in your body, whilst creating a sense of wellbeing and mental clarity.
The Classical Method is based on the original system of 'Contrology' devised by Joseph Pilates with the aim of creating a movement philosophy, not just a series of exercises. It combines the western approach to muscular training with the eastern influences of focus and centring.
It has six key principles at its heart
BREATH : CONCENTRATION : CENTRE : CONTROL : PRECISION : FLOW

About Me
Pilates has been a big part of my life for the last 20 years. And I love it! With the encouragement of friends and family, the time was right for me to finally follow my dreams and train to become a teacher so that I could share my love of the Pilates method. I originally trained in Classical Pilates with Exhale Pilates in 2020. I have since done a conversion course with the prestigious Body Control Pilates in London with the aim of developing my skills with their wide ranging opportunities for continuing education.
